LBI/VCFSE Strategy: Advocacy, Advice & Guidance (Including Housing & Homelessness) workshop

May 21 @ 10:00 - 11:30

We are inviting you to take part in an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of the new strategy for Islington’s Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise Sector (VCFSE) and how it works with the Council. We are looking for your insights and knowledge to develop the strategy which will support thriving communities and meet the needs of residents in the coming years.

At the workshops you will be able to influence how we:

  • Build on the strengths of the VCFSE and its relationship with the Council
  • Enhance the capacity and sustainability of local organisations, particularly those from underserved communities, increasing their impact
  • Develop communication channels between the Council and the VCFSE, empowering the voice of residents and making best use of their expertise and insights
  • Strengthen collaboration between VCFSE organisations

Participants will be paid the London Living Wage of £13.85 per hour in cash or vouchers and can choose to attend one of the themed workshops below.

Please complete the form to register your attendance: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/4hFvhf93dN

Location: ARC Collective – 98b St Paul St, London N1 7DF

The Leaders Collaborative will be used as a touchpoint and check-in on the strategy’s progress. Please save the date of the 12th June and sign up here if you are interested in attending. Participants will not be paid for attending the Leaders Collaborative.
