Matthew Ryder, London’s Deputy Mayor for Social Integration is visiting organisations in Islington
Matthew Ryder, London’s Deputy Mayor for Social Integration, Social Mobility and Community Engagement is undertaking a visit to Islington on 29 June 2017. The visit has been organised for Matthew to meet with volunteers and organisations that have relationships with the GLA’s Team London, Diversity & Social Policy and Sport teams.
Matthew’s first visit will be to Just for Kids Law – an award-winning charity which helps young people who need support and advice, or legal representation. He will then move on to Voluntary Action Islington – the membership organisation for people working to make a positive difference to life in Islington. The final visit will be to Islington Boat Club who will be showcasing their ‘All Onboard’ scheme for schools and groups working with young people aged 9+ and adults with disabilities.
