Charles Hayward Foundation – Small Grants
Application deadline: Applications are accepted at any time
Maximum value: £7,000
Small grants are available to UK-registered charities for projects that support older people.
Small grants will be awarded to Older People’s projects that deliver preventative and early intervention programmes locally, enabling older people to stay in their own homes and remain independent.
The Foundation is particularly interested in seeking out programs that show creativity in improving the quality of life for older people. The Foundation will focus on:
- Programmes aiming to alleviate isolation and depression in older people, including informal day care or social, physical and recreational activities.
- Programmes that mainly use volunteers to provide practical help, assistance, and support for older people living in their own homes.
- Programmes addressing the emotional and practical needs of older carers.
- Programmes designed to meet the specific needs of people with dementia.
There are no submission deadlines; applications are accepted at any time during the year. Charles Hayward Foundation will confirm receipt of all complete and correctly submitted applications, and they aim to notify you of the outcome of your application within four months.
