Cherry Family Foundation
Grants are available for smaller grassroots charities in London, the East and the Southeast of England who organise programmes that support young people between the ages of 10 and 30 years.

Objectives of Fund
The fundings is intended for a wide range of small grassroots charities to help advance the lives of young people (aged 10 to 30 years old) who come from difficult circumstances to help them lead healthy, happy, successful lives.
The grants can be used in any way the charity needs it. This includes supporting projects that develop skills, advance education, relieve unemployment, support mental and physical health, provide recreational activities, and create opportunities.

BBC Children in Need – Project Grants
Grants to cover project costs are available for not-for-profit organisation’s that are working with disadvantaged children and young people aged up to 18 years and living in the UK.
Maximum value: | £ 120,000 Groups requesting £15,000 or less will receive a quicker decision and be able to start sooner. |
Application deadline: | Applications can be made at any time. There are no deadlines |
Objectives of Fund
This stream offers project funding to organisations whose work aligns with the principles set out in the Children in Need Grant making Strategy 2022-2025:
- Sharing power with children and young people.
- Acting flexibly.
- Using its voice to build awareness and empathy around issues.
- Building partnerships to bring communities and investors together.
Applications can be made at any time. There are no deadlines.
There is a two-stage application process:
- An initial Expression of Interest form can be found on the Children in Need website.
- Successful applicants will receive a link to the full application form and have 120 days to complete it.

London Catalyst – Project Grants
Grants are available for charities and voluntary and community organisations working in Greater London to fund initiatives that will tackle the effects of poverty and ill health and make a difference.

Objectives of Fund
London Catalyst’s objectives are to:
- Improve the health and well-being of people who are most in need.
- Raise awareness of the work of supported organisations.
- Help to remove people from poverty.
Priority is given to small or medium-sized organisations with an annual income of around £500,000. Organisations with income over this figure can be considered when their resources and expertise suggest they are in the best position to develop a service or are in partnership with local groups.

The Imperial Community Impact Fund
It is an initiative designed to support local community groups and charities committed to making a positive difference.
With an annual fund of £10,000, this grant scheme offers between £500 to £1,000 per project to inspire and empower local organisations working in the areas of the environment, sustainability, creativity, and local problem solving.
We invite community groups and charitable organisations to apply for funding to bring their meaningful ideas to life. Our goal is to support initiatives that drive meaningful change, whether through environmental conservation, creative community participation, or solving pressing local challenges.
The fund is open for submissions twice a year, in January and July with the next round opening on Thursday 30 January 2025.
