Better Health – Every Mind Matters is providing free resources for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week starting May 15th. There are a range of campaign materials sharing NHS tools and advice on how we can all use physical activity to help tackle anxiety and ‘Make the first move for your mental health’. The resources are now live (please note embargos were labelled) with some already available for order and download on the Campaign Resource Centre including a comms toolkit and:

  • Good Thinking anxiety support and resources

Good Thinking have created a handy communications guide containing information about anxiety, suggested copy for social channels, social media graphics and links to printable posters and flyers to help you raise awareness of the service and signpost to the range of free anxiety resources available to all those living, working and studying in London.

If you’d like any further information about Good Thinking please contact Danielle Bailey – danielle.bailey20@nhs.net.

  • Mental Health Foundation will be publishing their report on anxiety and how to tackle it on Monday 15th May. Tips on how to manage feelings of anxiety are already on the website and they will be sharing videos throughout the week of high profile people who share their experience of anxiety and how they manage it. • Wear It Green Day – is on Thursday 18th May-  encourage others to show their support for and raise awareness for mental health by wearing green on the 18th!
  • London Arts and Health – Creativity and Wellbeing Week coincides with MHAW next week. There are lots of synergies between the two.  There is a loose theme – What is the role of creativity in a health crisis?
