Voluntary Action Islington AGM
The VAI AGM and Volunteer of the Year Awards will be held on Wednesday 6th November at Voluntary Action Islington, 200a Pentonville Road, London N1 9JP.
We are pleased to have as our guest speaker Rachael Box, CEO & founder of London Village Network (LVN). LVN is a grassroots Islington charity set up to bring the community together to support young people. Since 2014 LVN have developed a series of ‘Power of an Hour’ programmes that ask professional adults (from all sectors) to give 1 hour of time to support local youth with preparing for and finding employment. The LVN hyper-local youth support is brought together by the development of a volunteer management app, a youth worker training programme and a youth provision / opportunity signposting app. Rachael is an Islington resident and mother to twin girls Lauren & Timia
The AGM will start at 6.30pm and will end at 8pm. Refreshments will be served from 6pm.

Islington Volunteer of the Year Awards 2019
Nominations for the Islington Volunteer of the Year Awards 2019, sponsored by Doubletree by Hilton and Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill, are now closed.
Prizes and certificates will be presented by the Deputy Mayor and at the VAI AGM on 6th November 2019.

• Volunteer of the Year: 26 – 60 year olds
• Older Volunteer of the Year: 60+ year olds
