Staying Well Event

Voluntary Action Islington & Volunteer Centre Islington will attend the event. We will have a stall where we will promote what we do and next steps in volunteering and support offered to community groups. We will also talk at 12.15pm about “Supporting diverse journeys”: volunteering in Islington, stories from volunteers, and Anna about the support received from our organisation to set up “Go Africa” as a social enterprise.

Staying Well Event
Find a new skill or interest! Revive a previous ‘passion’ or your career, whatever your age or stage of life!  

Where: LIFT Islington, 45 White Lion Street, N1 9PW
When: Wednesday 8th November 2023 from 10am to 4.30pm

Do you know someone who would benefit from booking a place?  The event is free and open to Islington residents 18yrs+ (or with an Islington GP). It could be someone who has lost their direction or spark in life and could benefit from joining a social group, getting support to develop an interest, starting to volunteer or perhaps help with employability.
