Voluntary Action Islington’s Roundtable Discussions
Islington organisations are invited to participate in Voluntary Acton Islington’s Roundtable Discussions on our 4 strategic priority areas of Inequality, Health, Poverty and Community Safety. The details are:
- Inequality: Monday 16th September, 2.30-4.30pm
- Health: Wednesday 18th September, 2.30-4.30pm
- Poverty: Monday 23rd September, 10.30-12.30pm
- Community Safety: Tuesday 24th September, 10.30-12.30pm
We are inviting a select group of “experts” to one-off, focussed meetings addressing these themes. The purpose of these discussions is to think of constructive ways in which the Voluntary and Community Sector can work together to address local issues and how VAI, in particular, can facilitate this process. We are asking our cross-sector experts to bring with them their specialist knowledge of local issues, opportunities that may be available to the sector and ideas for how we can test new strategic approaches. By participating in this discussion, you will help to shape the agenda for VAI and how we support Islington’s civil society.
Our current strategic plan can give you an understanding of the framework within which VAI operates.
You are welcome to attend one or more of the discussions. If you want to join any of this discussions please send an email to Guljabeen.Rahman@vai.org.uk.
