Love Food Hate Waste Workshop

23/01/2013

An exciting volunteering opportunity has recently become available. Voluntary Action Islington and Love Food Hate Waste are offering the chance to become a ‘Food Waste Champion’ by campaigning and cascading food waste prevention messages in your local community. You will receive full training and your local Volunteer Co-ordinator will be there on hand to offer support and advice along the way.

If this opportunity interests you and you would like to attend a LFHW workshop to find out more, then please come along to the next training session on Friday 1st February, 10am – 12pm, at Ealing Volunteer Centre, 63 Mattock Lane, London, W13 9LA.

Pop along to this session to hear all about some quick and easy things you could do to save up to £50 a month by wasting less food. Whether you choose to have perfect portions, be savvy with your storage, cook delicious meals with your lovely leftovers, save by planning or simply get to know use by dates, we’ve got something for you to try. Whether you want to save money, help the environment or pick up some cookery inspiration this event is for you!
