City Bridge Trust – Anchor Programme
The Anchor Programme can provide £50-£150k per year to eligible organisations for 7-10 years. To receive funding, organisations must demonstrate a strong commitment to equitable practice and addressing the marginalisation and discrimination experienced by those with intersecting identities. The Anchor Programme has been co-designed with civil society organisations and aims to achieve change for Londoners at a systemic level. Expressions of Interest are open from Monday, 17 April, until Monday, 8 May.
Ubele – The Phoenix Way
The Ubele Initiative has launched The Phoenix Way, an emergency round of grant funding for Black and racially minoritised organisations in England working with and supporting children and young people impacted by the current cost-of-living crisis. Grants of up to £20,000 are available. Deadline is on Monday 8 May.
Masonic Charitable Foundation – Small Children and Young People’s Grants
This programme is open to national and local charities helping disadvantaged children and young people to overcome the challenges they face. Small grants range from £1,000-£5,000 per year, for up to three years. This is a rolling grants programme, therefore there is no longer any deadlines.
Garfield Weston Foundation
Garfield Weston supports a wide range of charities that make a positive difference, working in different sectors in the UK. These include welfare, youth, community, environment, education, health, arts, heritage and faith.
Matthew Good Foundation
The Grants for Food Fund is a grant where every three months five projects will be chosen to share a total amount of £15,000. Applicants should have under £50,000 annual income.
The Fore
Apply for unrestricted grants of up to £30,000, which can be used for whatever your organisation needs to grow, strengthen, become more efficient or resilient. The Fore also offers feedback for every applicant. See here for more information

Create Equity are offering unrestricted grants up to £70k for Black and Asian organisations to deliver services in areas such as finance, marketing, project management. Find out more information HERE
ISLINGTON COUNCIL’S COMMUNITY CHEST
Funding for Community Groups
– we particularly welcome ideas for projects that:
- respond to the cost-of-living crisis
- seek to address community safety
- aim to make Islington a more
environmentally sustainable borough
Deadline: 12pm (midday) on Monday, 15 May 2023
Funding up to £5,000 for constituted community organisations that:
- Have an annual turnover of less than £100,000
- Work with Islington residents
- Priority is given to organisations supporting residents experiencing poverty and/or isolation

Lloyds Foundation: Racial Equity
This programme is for small local charities and community interest companies (CICs) working with people who have faced inequity because of their race or ethnicity.
Charity size: with an income between £25,000 – £500,000
Grant size: a three year unrestricted grant of £75,000.
Application deadline: 5pm on Wednesday 31st May 2023.
