We are recruiting an Information & Communications Assistant

Voluntary Action Islington is looking for someone who is a dynamic, creative, organised and a great communicator person, to:

  • assist with Voluntary Action Islington’s communications including website, e-newsgroup, newsletter and social media to promote our work, including our volunteering support services.
  • gather and disseminate information and resources relevant to Islington’s diverse Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS).
  • provide support to Voluntary Action Islington’s core operational functions including our capacity building support to Islington’s VCS
  • support the Volunteer Centre’s core functions including connecting and supporting local residents to access local volunteering opportunities.

Job Title: Information & Communications Assistant
Salary: £23,497 (full time equivalent) £14,098 (21 hours per week – pro rata)
Hours: Part time – 21 hours per week
