Funding Update – 5th June 2023

Land Aid and Street Smart – London Youth Homelessness Support Fund
LandAid and StreetSmart are inviting charities in London to apply to the 2023 Youth Homelessness Support Fund for grants of between £10k-£50k. They want to fund work that supports young people into accommodation, help ensure young people do not become homeless in the first place and work with cohorts of young people where there is an identified growing homelessness need in London currently (i.e. young women, young people who identify as LBGTQIA+). Deadline is on Friday 9 June.

Co-op Local Community Fund
Co-op supports projects that help make communities fairer for everyone. You can apply if you’re a not-for-profit group, wanting to fund a specific project that benefits your local community.
Deadline is Sunday 11 June.

The Mercers’ Company – Literacy Funding Opportunity and Webinar
The Mercers’ Company is launching a funding opportunity for organisations in London working with children and young people to develop Literacy and Oracy skills. They plan to fund two cohorts of grantees from January 2024 and wish to support projects that help children think of themselves as readers and writers, who have a voice. The webinar will provide detail on the funding opportunity and how to apply. It will be held on Monday 12 June, 4 – 5pm.

Thomas Wall Trust
The Thomas Wall Trust welcomes proposals that target people facing major hurdles to employment. They offer grants of up to £5,000 to specific projects that develop these critical life skills for people from disadvantaged groups. Deadline is Monday 18 September.
