Community Development Manager
(
Full time, 35 hours – NJC Scale 27 – £35,300)
We are looking for a candidate experienced in project management, community engagement and network facilitation to come and lead our Local Wellbeing Network project into year 2. The post holder will work closely with local residents, the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector (VCFSE) and statutory sector partners to provide a single point of contact, supporting the administration, coordination and implementation of local events in relation to the Local Wellbeing Networks.

Volunteer Centre Support Officer
(
Part time, 31.75 hours/4.5 days – Scale 6, Pt 21 – £30,380 FTE/4.5 days = £27,342)
We are looking for a Volunteer Centre Support Officer to a
ssist with the day to day running of the Volunteer Centre including volunteer management and the continuous development of the service. The post holder will also deliver volunteering brokerage services to clients from a range of backgrounds, provide good practice volunteering support to cross sector organisations, promote volunteering and assist with marketing of the Volunteer Centre service and lead on the Peabody Community Fund Volunteer Outreach project.

 

 

Trustee
We are looking for Trustees to join our Board to support a thriving the Islington voluntary, community faith and social enterprise sector (VCFSE). We are particularly keen to recruit members who have one or more of the following skills:  Fundraising, Policy & Community Development, HR & Legal, Property Management, Health and Social Care, Public Health  and Volunteering We are also keen to increase the level of diversity amongst our Trustees, and so we are particularly encouraging people from Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic, and Refugee (BAMER) backgrounds, LGBTQ+ community and people with disabilities to apply. 

 

Community Volunteering Advisor
(
Minimum 4 hours per week for 3 months) 

Do you want to play a key role in supporting and developing volunteering within Islington? In this role you will match interested local people with suitable volunteering opportunities within charities and community groups. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in advice work and to connect with the local community.

Information & Communications Volunteer
(
2 days per week/4 hours per day for 4 months)
Do you like social media, websites and marketing? This is a great opportunity to gain experience of communicating across a range of digital channels within the voluntary sector.
