1. Age UK Islington: Care Home Garden Renovation Team

A half day’s assistance (Islington)
To help renovate and clear up the garden of a local care home for the elderly.
2. Angel Shed Theatre: Street Marketing Assistants
Flexible Dates March & April
Two hour sessions (Central London)
To help promote their youth theatre by distributing leaflets to the general public.
3. London Credit Union: Street Marketing Assistants
Flexible Dates March & April
Two hour sessions (Central London)
To help promote their financial services by distributing leaflets to the general public.
4. Maytree: Garden Renovation Volunteers
Early April (Date tbc)
A half day’s assistance (Finsbury Park)
To help clear up the garden of a sanctuary for people in crisis situations.
5. University College Hospital: Social Activity Volunteers
Flexible Dates in March & April
Two hour sessions (Mornington Crescent)
To come in and play games with elderly patients in a local hospital.
6. London Youth Games: Crystal Palace Youth Games Stewards
Tue 26th or Wed 27th March
10am – 4pm (Crystal Palace)
Events stewards required to help with the running of these charity sporting events.
7. The Conservation Volunteers: Hedge Planting Day Helpers
Tues 26th or Thu 28th March
10am – 3pm (Finsbury Park)
Helping to plant hedges in various locations in the Finsbury park area.
8. Carefree Kids: Office Move Day Helpers
Wed 27th March
Flexible hours (Waltham Forest)
People required to help this children’s charity with their office move.
9. Alternatives to Violence: Admin Assistants
Monday 15th April
Midday to 5pm (Islington)
To assist them with a large educational mailing from their offices.
10. The Bridge School: Classical Music Concert Assistants
Saturday 20th April
7pm until 10pm (Holloway N7)
Helping to run a classical music concert, set up chairs, give out brochures etc.
11. British Lung Foundation: London Marathon Photographers
Sunday 21st April
Flexible hours (Central London)
People required to photograph and video the London Marathon on the day itself.
12. Nafsiyat Therapy Centre: Conference Assistants
Saturday 27th April
9am – 4pm (Regents Park)
Required to help out in a variety of tasks at a conference on “Migrant Journeys”.
13. Cancer Research UK: London Sporting Event Assistants
Sun 21st April & 27th May
Flexible hours (Central London)
To help meet and greet runners at “The London Marathon” and “The London 10,000”.
14. Save the Children: Fundraising Collection Assistants
29th April, 1st & 3rd May
Flexible hours (Central London)
Collecting donations from the public at tube stations in central London.
15. Breakthrough Breast Cancer: Moonwalk 2013 Stewards
Saturday 11th May
Flexible hours (Battersea Park and other areas)
To help out on the day as a marshal, with a sponsored walk event in London.
16. Manor Gardens Welfare Trust: Centenary Celebration Event Assistants
Saturday 27th July
Flexible hours (Holloway N7)
To help out on the day with running a community centre fundraising event.
17. Juvenille Diabetes Foundation: Sponsored Walk Stewards
Sunday 22nd September
9.30am – 3.00pm (Central London)
To assist as stewards at this large sponsored walk event for children with diabetes.
