Congratulations to Elthorne Estates following the announcement today that they will receive Big Local funding of £1m over a 10 year period to help residents improve the area. Residents will decide how the funds will be spent with support from a Big Local Rep. “The 10 year commitment to support is especially welcome and is a great opportunity for residents to lead on developing activities that are most relevant to meeting local needs” said Mike Sherriff, Chief Executive of Voluntary Action Islington.
