This session is for food hub volunteers and staff only who work with or come into contact with adults at risk and have not previously attended any basic safeguarding awareness courses.
Aim: To increase knowledge about safeguarding adults and how to identify and report abuse

• Define and recognise signs and symptoms of abuse and neglect
• Identify which groups of people come under the term adults with care and support needs in adult social care and may be vulnerable to abuse
