Volunteers’ Week, 2nd-8th June 2025

Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the incredible contribution that millions of people make across the UK through volunteering. From June 2nd to 8th, 2025, we take this opportunity to extend a huge thank you to all the amazing volunteers who give their time, energy, and passion to support their communities.

Whether you’re helping at a local food bank, mentoring young people, supporting the environment, or offering a friendly face at community events, your efforts matter. You inspire change, strengthen connections, and create lasting impact.

Volunteers are always active at the heart of every local community. So, taking the time during Volunteers’ Week to celebrate and recognise their efforts and all they contribute to our communities, the voluntary sector and society as a whole have never been more important. The Volunteers’ Week website has lots of information for organisations to consider how best to mark this week, as well as resources to download should you choose to celebrate.

This week is also a great time to get involved! If you’ve ever thought about volunteering, there’s no better moment to start. Discover meaningful roles, meet new people, and make a difference.
