Youth Endowment Fund – Open Call
Grants are available for delivery organisations that work to reduce young people’s involvement in violence for well-established projects delivered in England or Wales.

Applications will be considered from registered charities, companies, statutory bodies and community interest companies (CICs) supporting children and young people in England and/or Wales.
The funding is available to organisations across England and Wales that are working to reduce children’s involvement in violence and have the potential for rigorous impact evaluation.
Projects need to primarily support children and young people (aged 10 to 18 years) who are either:
- At risk of crime or violence (‘secondary prevention’), or
- Already affected by violence, offending or exploitation (‘tertiary prevention’).
Projects also need to be working in one of the following sectors:
- Youth sector
- Children’s services
- Youth Justice
- Policing
- Neighbourhoods
- Health
- Education
Match Funding Restrictions
Match funding is required. Applicants need to provide 20% of delivery costs themselves either through supplementary funding or in-kind provision.
Note, if the organisation is led by representatives of Black and/or racially minoritised communities and are unable to meet the 20% supplementary and in-kind target, they should apply as their application will be assessed separately.

Paul Hamlyn Foundation – Youth Fund
Grants are available for organisations whose main purpose is working with and for young people (aged 14-25) who face challenging or complex transitions to adulthood.
London-based organisations can apply but should be aware that the fund is more competitive for them.
Priority is likely to be given to those outside London unless they are developing work, which is unlikely to be found elsewhere, or which will have an influence or impact beyond London.

The funding is for:
Organisations working with young people (14–25 years).
Targeted work with and for young people who face transitions in their lives which may be challenging or create barriers for example into or out of education, care settings, housing or the secure estate, which might include prisons, bail accommodation, youth detention accommodation and approved premises.
Work that recognizes young people’s multiple and overlapping identities (for example race, gender, sexual orientation, class, faith, migration status, ability)There is particular interest in applications from organisations led by people most impacted by racism, ableism, classism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, and/or transphobia.
Who Can Apply
Applications are accepted from organisations that:
- Are not-for-profit, such as charities, community organisations, social enterprises, and not-for-profit companies.
- Work primarily: at least 50% of the organisation’s focus is on work with and for young people aged 14-25.
- Work in the UK.
- Work at either local, regional, or national levels, or at more than one level.
- Provide direct services and/or second-tier support.
- Have an income between £30,000 and £3.5 million.
