World Mental Health Day, 10 October

World Mental Health Day on 10 October provides us all with an opportunity to promote good mental health and the mental health resources available to help and support local people.

Good mental wellbeing is fundamental to our physical health, our relationships, our sense of purpose, our ability to get through the normal stress of day to day life and to be able to cope when things change. It can improve self-confidence. It can help us to manage life’s problems and to enjoy the good things, especially when you have money worries, it’s important to remember there is mental health support available.

There are a number of events in Islington to mark the day and you can find out about the events and training on offer for World Mental Health Day on the events page on the Islington Life website.

IslingtonLife will also be posting regularly from the @Islingtonlife accounts and posting a couple of case studies on www.Islingtonlife.london
