Cloudesley committee members (voluntary roles)

26/01/2022

Cloudesley is a local charity which makes grants of over £1.6 million each year to people, organisations and churches in Islington. We are recruiting for three new voluntary committee members to help us do this effectively.

Register for the online information session that we are holding on Thursday 10 February, 4-6pm

No previous grant-making, committee or charity experience is needed and we will provide:

• Training
• 1:1 support from a Trustee buddy
• Expenses to cover related childcare, carer and travel costs so you can attend committee meetings

We are keen to make our committees more diverse and representative of the people and groups that we support and so would particularly welcome applications from people who:

• Are disabled
• Have a long-term health condition
• Are from a Black and minority ethnic community
• Are under 35

The new committee members are likely to have experience and/or knowledge of one of the following:

• An area funded by the charity – disability; physical or mental health issues; welfare benefits and poverty; domestic violence; homelessness; drug or alcohol dependency; church buildings and services
• Property and buildings issues
• Financial management
• Investments
