Making the Most of Free Time
Funding Opportunity Providing More Activities for Islington’s Young People
Islington Giving is committed to investing in Islington’s young people. They are now inviting project proposals for activities and opportunities at times and places young people want them, including at weekends and in the holidays. They consulted with young people last summer, through their Making the Most of Free Time consultation, and they said they would like more to be on offer especially at these times. Through this call Islington Giving is keen to work with organisations to unlock Islington and fill gaps in opportunities and support for young people.
Expressions of Interest are now invited from organisations or partnerships of organisations working with and providing activities for young people that can help widen the spread and range of high-quality activities on offer to young people living in Islington. Our focus is particularly on unlocking opportunities for groups of young people who find it more difficult to access them, for example because of isolation, financial constraints or disability.
Deadline for Expressions of interest: 5pm 12th September 2016.
