Guljabeen Rahman new Chief Executive of Voluntary Action Islington
Voluntary Action Islington has appointed Guljabeen Rahman to be its new Chief Executive. She took up the role on 21st March 2016.
Guljabeen was until recently Director of the Hopscotch Asian Women’s Centre in Camden and has also been a trustee of several community organisations. She has previously worked in the housing sector and internationally with UNICEF and VSO.
Phil Kelly, Chair of Voluntary Action Islington said: “At this challenging and interesting time for the voluntary sector I’m very pleased that Guljabeen will be joining us and we look forward to working with her in Islington.”
