  • Hornsey Road Children’s Centre is recruiting two new roles, Nursery Manager and Room Leader.
    1. Nursery Manager:  The position is to join and lead the experienced and committed team of practitioners and as a key member of our Early Years leadership across their Organisation.  In the role, you will ensure a safe and high-quality learning environment, meeting all standards of early years education. You will supervise, inspire, and develop staff to provide a consistently high standard of care and education. The Centre works with many children and families with additional educational and support needs, and in there creative and robust assessment and planning, they effectively respond to the presenting needs of all the children from the local community. You will need an excellent understanding and approach to early help and safeguarding, and a commitment to partnership working.     2. Room Leader: Room Leader position to join the experienced and committed team of practitioners and alongside the Early Years leadership across the Organisation. You will on a daily basis lead, supervise, and inspire a team of staff in our baby and toddler room to provide a consistently high standard of care and education. You will need an excellent understanding and approach to early help and safeguarding, and a commitment to partnership working. Finance & Grant Administration Officer: The Finance & Grant Administration Officer will support the day to day finance operations as well as their fundraising activity as they prepare for an exciting capital development project.   • Islington Refugee and Migrant Forum are recruiting new Board of Trustees Members. They are governed by five trustees and an associated member all elected in the IRMF Annual

  • Community Catalysts CIC is recruiting for a Community Enterprise Catalyst based in Islington. This is a 1-year fixed-term contract post. The post holder will work closely with council staff to support people using council day services to understand and access these opportunities. The overall aim is to provide increased choice for people with a learning disability.Term: Fixed term contract for 1 year.
    Location: Flexible but must be able to travel to fulfil the purposes of the job
    Hours: 37.5 hours per week
    Salary: £35,000 per annum

You will lead the Islington “Community Offer” Project. You will find and mentor local people and community organisations, helping them to create new ways for people with a learning disability to have increased choice, new experiences and community connections.

  • Elfrida Rathbone Camden is recruiting a Project Coordinator for a programme aimed at supporting young disabled people to share their experiences, skills and awareness to improve the quality of services delivered to disabled people. The project will enable them to influence positive change in their community. They will use their lived experience to influence change by working with public, private and voluntary sector bodies to improve policies and practices that impact disabled people. The project will run for five years and its central aim is to work with partner agencies, local employers and other support organisations to recognise the talent and abilities of disabled people have that are often overlooked or ignored.
