Young Islington Localities Event

Voluntary Action Islington in partnership with Young Islington are pleased to announce that we are holding a Young Islington Locality Event on Thursday 26^th January from 12:00 to 3:30pm (lunch from 12:00-12:30). This event will bring together small groups working with young people in Islington. Particularly those from the Bangladeshi, Kurdish, Somali and, Turkish communities.

The event will be held at: Voluntary Action Islington, 200A Pentonville Road, N1 9JP

This is a great opportunity to meet and network with:

• The Chair of the Young Islington Networks who will highlight progress to date and the benefits of being involved in the Young Islington Networks.
• Partner organisations who will share their experience of the Networks and present the opportunities they can offer to small grassroot organisations
• Local funders (Arsenal in the Community, Cloudesley, Cripplegate)  will outline their grants programmes and;
• Other small grassroots organisations working with young people

Round table discussion questions:

1. What are the most pressing issues facing your young people today
2. How can the Young Islington Locality Networks better represent and support your young people

The findings from this event will be shared with the Young Islington Networks.
