How Effective Engagement can benefit your organisation.

This is a free training workshop for voluntary organisations, community groups and social enterprises working with children, young people and families in Islington. It will explore how VCS organisations can become more sustainable through engaging effectively with public health commissioning.

This session will cover:
•    What is public health? How it sits in the health arena and overview of the different areas of public health work
•    Understanding public health outcomes
•    Exploring public health inequalities
•    How voluntary and community sector organisations can engage effectively with  Public Health bodies and commissioners
•    Case studies of VCS organisations who have worked successfully on Public
•    Health
•    Planning how your organisation can engage with public health work
