Microsoft Teams: walk-through for small charities

November 11 @ 14:00 - 15:15

Join us to see how using Microsoft Teams could benefit your organisation and how to get up and running.

About this Event

Have you got started with Microsoft Teams but don’t feel confident that you’re using it well? Or are you thinking of using Office 365 Teams and don’t know much about it?

UK registered charities can use Office 365 for free under the Microsoft donation programme. Many small charities have started to use Teams to stay in touch during the coronavirus and collaborate both within their staff teams and externally with colleagues.

But it can be confusing, hard to know how to organise and know the settings that are most useful.

This short Teams webinar will take you through the basics of Teams, with time for Q and A throughout.

Outcomes:

By the end of the session you’ll:

  • Have a good understanding of the basics of using Teams
  • Be able to identify how to structure your Teams
  • Be confident to start using Teams in your everyday work

Is this walk-through for me?

This course is aimed at anyone who works for a charity or community group in London and who wants to better understand Teams.  It will be particularly useful for staff / trustees looking at smarter ways of working in their organisation.

Format: Group introductory training webinar

This session is an online live-format webinar. As with all of Superhighways’ online training, there will be some interactivity, which may include asking you to contribute in chat, take part in polls or join a short breakout session for a conversation with other participants.

Joining by video will give you the best possible experience – but isn’t essential throughout. We may ask you to introduce yourselves.

There will be a chance to ask questions.
