Managing your records

24/06/2014 @ 13:30 - 16:30

Access to the ‘collective memory’ of any organisation is vital if its members and staff are to be effective in achieving their goals. Much of that memory rests in the records of decisions, processes, legal arrangements and financial transactions – and if they are badly arranged, or even wholly uncared for, then you can expect poor performance, which could involve loss of grants, fines for late payments or being arraigned for breaches in data protection.

Who should attend: Record Time is a short course intended for staff and board members whose responsibilities include – or ought to include – the management of current and semi-current records in paper or electronic form.

This training will be delivered by David Mander.

To secure your place, please complete the application form and send it to Maria Gonzalez at by Tuesday 10th June. We expect these courses to be popular, so earlier application is advised!

This course is free to Islington organisations, but we are afraid that we have to make a charge of £20 for organisations based outside Islington.

If meeting the fee for a course is a problem for your organisation, please contact Janet Keighley by email at VAI to discuss this, and she will try to help
