Let’s Talk Peer to Peer Support Group

August 4 @ 10:30 - 12:00

Join Age UK Islington to talk about anything and everything that’s to do with Islington – whether it’s something you’re having difficulties with or something you’ve discovered that you want to share.  The group will decide what they want to get out of meeting and will choose topics for ongoing/future monthly discussions. It’s a safe, confidential space to discuss what you want to discuss.

There’s no commitment to attend ongoing sessions.  Why not give one a try?

There will be lots of opportunities to share your experiences and to ask questions.  Drop in for a short time, or the whole session.  It’s up to you!

Why attend?

  • Make local connections
  • Share expertise & experiences
  • Discover local sources of support
  • Access advice & local knowledge
  • Find out about support available from Age UK Islington

Who’s it for? It’s for adults over 18 years who are Islington residents / caring for someone who is an Islington resident.

Taking place in the next session: 4th August? 10.30am to 11am – Sharing of Updates (Shamin Noronha/Carmen Alcovedes and Let’s Talk Peers)

11am to 12pm  Daniel Cooper, BBC /TV Licencing, for everything you need to know about the changes for over 75s; what you can do if you can’t afford to pay the licence, including flexible payment plans and concessions that are available.

To book a place on the August Let’s Talk, please email Shamin Noronha, Information & Advice Specialist Caseworker, at SNoronha@ageukislington.org.uk and we’ll send you a zoom link.
