Learn about self-portraits and their relevance in artists’ self-expression

June 2 @ 14:00 - 15:00

Join Age UK Islington for an exploration of how artists, from Rembrandt to Renoir, have used portraits as a means of self-expression.

Meet other Islington art enthusiasts. There might be Carers from other parts of England invited through ADASS. Change your Wednesday afternoon’s routine. Have fun!

Volunteer host: Jeremy Simon is a London-based artist, designer and educator.

How to take part? Contact Carmen, Activities Co-ordinator and she’ll email you a link: CAlcovedes@ageukislington.org.uk.

If you’re not already registered with Age UK Islington / Islington Carers Hub, you’ll need to do so to take part (it’s easy to do so!)

Need help to join using Zoom?

You’ll simply need to click on the Zoom link at the time of the session, and follow the prompts. For further help getting familiar and getting started with Zoom, please see the website.

Can my friends join?

The activities are open to adults of all ages, and we’d look forward to welcoming your friends. They’d need to be registered with Age UK Islington to take part – to register, contact our helpline on 020 7281 6018 / gethelp@ageukislington.org.uk
