Community Conversation: Keeping the family healthy over the Winter period.

Healthwatch Islington, Public Health Islington and Voluntary Action Islington are delivering a series of short online sessions for Islington’s Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector colleagues.

Winter is fast approaching, and we want to ensure that VCFSE colleagues have up-to-date information about the local offer to help keep families healthy. 

At this session, we will cover Winter illnesses, including Flu, and Measles, as cases are rising, and we will also talk about Covid.

There will be an opportunity for colleagues to discuss and ask questions. 

Contributors include:

• Dr Rosi Marsh, GP Partner, Andover Medical Centre & Clinical Lead for Islington.

Rosi will discuss managing a child’s health when they are unwell due to a measles infection.

• Baljinder Heer-Matiana, Assistant Director of Public Health Islington & Jane Brett Jones, Senior Public Health Strategist, will provide local data, insight, and information about the local offer.
