General Advice 1 to 1 sessions

Voluntary Action Islington provides free help to support the development of smaller Islington-based community organisations. An initial session via zoom, a phone call or in-person can last up to 45 minutes, and a follow-up meeting can be provided if necessary. If you would like help with developing your organisation, include: –

  • Starting a new community organisation
  • Fundraising and how to apply to funders
  • Project Planning
  • Governance
  • Advice with online presence such as website, social media, newsletters

If you send an email to any of us at VAI, this means you have not booked the session. 

To book a 1-to-1 session with an advisor, please register here The sessions are 45 minutes, and the appointment times are 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm

The surgery is by appointment only, and groups must book well in advance. Please bear in mind that these sessions are popular. Therefore, we will be keeping a waiting list. For any enquiries, please send an e-mail to yvette.ellis@vai.org.uk
