EC1: Public speaking

Who is it for?
This course is for management committee members, staff, volunteers and residents who would like to develop their public speaking skills. It will help you to gain confidence and will enable you to deliver public speeches that hold the attention of others.

What is it about?
Do you find public speaking daunting? Would you do anything to avoid speaking in public? Do you struggle to handle difficult audiences and unexpected situations? If the answer is yes to any of these then this course is for you. This interactive session will cover simple tips and key tricks, to help you improve your ability to speak in public, no matter the size of your audience. The course also covers how to best prepare for presentations, with a structured opportunity to practise in a safe environment.

Free for all voluntary and community organisations in EC1.
For other organisations please see our pricing structure.

EC1 training is prioritised for EC1 organisations, but there are some places allocated for Islington organisations outside of EC1.
