EC1: Conflict resolution

Who is it for?
This is for management committee members, managers, staff and volunteers, who sometimes find themselves in situations of conflict with other people within their organisation and/or externally.

What is it about?
It will give you the tools to manage and resolve conflict more easily, and will examine what conflict is, how it is expressed and how you respond to it. Different strategies for dealing with conflict will also be discussed. The course will also cover basic feedback skills.

What will I get out of it?

  • The ability to recognise the signs of conflict between people
  • The ability to recognise your own response to conflict
  • Different strategies for dealing with conflict
  • A practical understanding and knowledge of basic feedback skills

Cost
Free for all voluntary and community organisations in EC1.
For other organisations please see our pricing structure.

EC1 training is prioritised for EC1 organisations, but there are some places allocated for Islington organisations outside of EC1.
