Demonstrating Impact Training Course

28/01/2016 @ 10:00 - 16:00

Do you Need Support with Measuring the Outcomes of Your Work?

Partnership for Young London and Voluntary Action Islington to deliver a new training course about ‘Demonstrating Impact’. Having rigorous data provides tangible evidence to you and your stakeholders that you are adding value and making a real difference to your beneficiaries, which is of particular importance in this period of austerity.

This 1 day session has been designed for those working with young people from small to medium voluntary and/or community sector organisations who are new to, or want to refresh their knowledge on, demonstrating the impact of their work. The course is based around how to use a Theory of Change and will help your organisation create the activities for your project that will assist you in collecting the right data to measure your effectiveness.

By the end of the course you should have acquired the following:

  • An increased awareness of how to use the Theory of Change model and an understanding of its benefit to your organisation
  • Be able to create a Theory of Change that can be shared with colleagues within your organisation and used for other projects
  • Be able to identify the next steps required to put the process into action

The session will be delivered on Thursday 28th January and run from 10.00am to 4.00pm at Voluntary Action Islington. There is no cost for attending. Tea and coffee will be provided however, we are unable to provide lunch.

Visit the Centre for Youth Impact to learn more about the Theory of Change and other useful tools and resources to measure outcomes.
