Briefing Session for Young Londoners Fund

20/06/2018 @ 15:00 - 17:00

The Mayor’s new £45m Young Londoners Fund will help children and young people to fulfil their potential, particularly those at risk of getting caught up in crime.

£30million of the 3-year fund will be made available for projects in local communities.

Islington Council and Voluntary Action Islington are presenting a brief workshop for VCS organisations applying to the Fund who wish to work with our borough’s children and young people.

The workshop will focus on the Islington picture, namely:

• The current local youth crime picture
• Existing universal youth provision
• The Islington Young People’s Outcomes Framework – and other support available

And as this focusses on Islington, we recommend that before attending you read the Young Londoners Fund guidance available here.

Places are limited so book here as soon as you can!

A couple of notes:

We’re experiencing high demand for this session so just one person per organisation

Just to clarify – this session is about making the best Islington bid possible by giving you the local ‘picture’, strategies, etc. We won’t be going through the guidance/application process – so before you come we suggest you look at these and the FAQs at
