Enablement CovidRecovery Project
Islington Mind is offering a new project – Enablement CovidRecovery – helping vulnerable communities manage the short and long-term implications of the Covid-19 crisis. This project is funded by the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund.
The CovidRecovery project aims to address mental health and wellbeing challenges presented to service users by the Covid19 pandemic, and to help reduce hospitalisation and mental crises. Service users are supported to improve their financial security and social networks, tackling poverty, isolation, exclusion, and loneliness as well as build self-management, resilience and independence.
They take referrals from anyone who is an Islington resident and experiences mental health problems, who feels that the impact of Covid19 left them struggling and in need of additional support.
If you know anyone who needs support, please email ossi.ron@islingtonmind.org.uk or go to Islington Mind’s website
